Miradouro da Senhora da Paixão
The Srª da Paixão viewpoint is located on the plateau next to the town of Carrazeda de Ansiães. To the north, you can see the beauty of the villages of Luzelos and Arnal with their traditional houses. To the south, the landscape is truly amazing, covering a vast stretch of the Douro hillside, with the prominent elevation of Linhares Castle standing out.
Miradouro Olhos do Tua
Miradouro localizado no limite nordeste da aldeia de Castanheiro do Norte com uma excelente vista panorâmica sobre um amplo troço do vale do rio Tua. A estrutura do miradouro, projeto do escultor Paulo Moura, foi construída em aço corten e representa a quilha de um barco numa alusão à recente navegabilidade deste curso fluvial.
Miradouro São Lourenço
Localizado na estrada municipal que liga Pombal de Ansiães ao lugar de S. Lourenço, este miradouro, um projeto da autoria do escultor Paulo Moura, possui uma vista privilegiada sobre o vale do Tua convidando o observador a entrar na silhueta de São Lourenço para usufruir da magnífica paisagem envolvente. A vista é diversificada e marcada pelo recorte das montanhas com vinhas, sobreiros, oliveiras e o rio sinuoso que brilha lá no fundo. As termas e o rio Tua continuam um eterno diálogo que sempre surpreende, mesmo o viajante experimentado. Da contemplação da natureza muitos sentirão um convite irresistível para um banho ou hidromassagem nas caldas ou um mergulho retemperador nas águas da albufeira.
Miradouro Fraga da Ôla
Miradouro localizado no caminho municipal que liga a aldeia de Pinhal do Douro a Coleja. Da recém-construída estrutura metálica pode-se observar, a famosa queda de água da «Fraga da Ola» assim como uma extraordinária paisagem panorâmica, onde se destaca um amplo troço do vale do rio Douro e o vale do ribeiro da vila.
Miradouro Srº Da Boa Morte
The Senhor da Boa Morte Viewpoint is part of a religious space located next to the chapel/sanctuary of devotion to the same. It was built during the 18th century and consists of a simple chapel made up of two parts, with a physical division between the body of the church and the chancel, where there is a sculpture alluding to the Senhor da Boa Morte and a representation of the Calvary. From here you can enjoy a panoramic view over the Douro valley and the rugged slopes of the Tua river, where traditional Mediterranean botanical species can be seen.
